About IMPACT Arts + Film Fund
The IMPACT ARTS + FILM FUND (IAFF) was created as a platform for artists and filmmakers to engage in the political and policy arena. IAFF is based in Washington, D.C., and was co-founded by Jody Arlington, Jamie Shor and Kimball Stroud, three veterans of the political and entertainment arenas. IAFF hosts screenings, panel discussions, promotional events, and book launches to educate and enlighten its audiences and creates a climate for meaningful social impact. IAFF launched at the 2008 Democratic & Republican National Conventions with the IMPACT Film Festival: "Where Film Crosses the Aisle".
IAFF's fiscal sponsor is New Venture Fund, a 501(c) 3 public charity. New Venture Fund was established in response to demand from leading philanthropists for efficient, cost-effective and time-saving intermediary services. NVF offers unobtrusive support and facilitation - focusing on enhancing our clients' ability to execute their visions.
